Badging and Access Control
Willow Run Airport provides a safe, secure environment for its tenants and users. The airport secured area is fully surrounded by barbed wire fence, up to 10' in height, and includes automated access control gates and CCTV monitoring.
A Willow Run Airport access control ID badge is required of all employees, tenants, and contractors requiring access to the secured area. You must have permission from your employer, leaseholder, hiring tenant, or the Airport to obtain such a badge. A Badge Application must be filled out, front and back (T-Hangar tenants not required to complete Employment History on page #2), along with the approval and signature of the tenant company Authorizing Signer. Once the application is submitted, individuals are required to attend a one hour training course on Airport Security and Ramp Driver's Safety Training and pass a short test. A government issued photo ID is required as proof of identity upon badge issuance.
There is a $20 badge processing fee (payable by cash or money order only) for non-tenant employer individuals (i.e. T-Hangar tenants and small contractors), tenant employee ID badges will be billed to their respective employer.
The Willow Run Airport Badging office is located in suite 200, 2nd floor of Hangar #1, on the west side of the airport
